BACK IN BARCELONA AND EDITING

After almost 40 days on the road, we are finally back in Barcelona and our first goal is to create a trailer to be able to show off all the beautiful footage and interviews we managed to film on this amazing, exhausting, stressful, wonderful trip.

What is Culturelinx?

Culturelinx is a project from Musica Sin Fronteras, a non-profit organisation run by a collective of independent media professionals in the area of education, music, audio, film, arts and event management, web technology and design.

We are visiting cross-culture musicians with mobile recording equipment and cameras, and filming musical collaborations and interviews, exploring concepts of identity and connections between cultures. With the musicians inspired by previous recordings, layer by layer, we are creating a body of music, videos and lyrics
in a mash-up exploration of 21st century life.

This blog shows the MAKING OF , the process of gathering the audio and visual material on the road. A comprehensive website, including musician profiles, sound samples for download and teasers from the documentary and album is coming soon...
