We are starting in Barcelona, and travelling down through Spain and into Morrocco and will be back for the Merce Festival towards the end of September in Barcelona.
We've lined up a number of musicians along the way and are picking up more and more contacts every day.
Three of us - Sandra, Simon and Ayesha - are heading down in the van with our friend Melody, while Teo, our cameraman and director, is going to fly out to Marrakesh on the 24th August - so all the serious recording and filming is going to take place from that point on.
This gives us time on the way down to make more contacts, get some rough footage and audio material together to start building tracks, iron out technical wrinkles in our mobile set up and get into life on the road and a working groove.
