DAY 8 - TARIFA JAM

Spend a day organising ourselves on the internet in a Wi-fi bar and arrange to meet Adam Budofsky, who DJ's at Cafe Del Mar Tarifa and organises live music events at Banti. We meet him at Associacion Puertas Abiertas, a cultural association with an open air bar hidden in the mountains right at the southern tip of Spain overlooking the lights of Morocco.

Getting to Puertas Abiertas involves following our noses, interpreting some hastily scribbled directions, passing through abandoned army check points and bumping down a dirt track for a couple of kilometres. We arrive to find a great live funk, reggae and samba jam taking place until late. Make more connections for recording on the trip back and have a bit of a jam under the stars...
