Whilst waiting for the van to be prepared, we meet a very interesting 'man from Rome' who ended up being a half Algerian, half-Italian diplomat, who grew up in Barcelona, and Italy, lived and worked in Belgium and had now returned to Morocco. His search for his real mother and therefore his identity was a driving force in his life and we are left with much food for thought.
We thank and cheer our van spray 'artistes' and take the spanking van down the coast, past the supermarket and a beautiful bird sanctuary lake and finally haul up between Kenitra and Rabat, outside a very kitsch 1970s hotel on Plages des Nations.
